I hope to be able to join in next time! I don’t mind a virtual event at 4 a.m. on a Saturday (I’m a crazy morning person, I know). But this weekend I have a work Christmas party the night before and will be up later than usual, so will have to catch the next one. I hope it’s magical!
Oh yes we would love to have you join us for the next one. A 4am start after a Christmas party sounds so unappealing haha. Enjoy the festivities and I look forward to connecting and creating together for the next gathering.
This sounds utterly magical and I can’t wait to read more of your journey as you integrate. I’m like Lyndsay and Julia and my tired brain can’t function or write late at night, but will be thinking of you all gathering and weaving words xxxx
Thank you so much Lauren, I can’t wait to share. I’m updating the time to accommodate for the UK time zone so hopefully that aligns and you can gather with us xxx
Such a beautiful piece of writing. I love what you say about the process of each draft revealing something new. I also relate to the integration needed following your trip and think it is very wise you have been taking the time to do that. The Writer’s Cabin sounds SO wonderful. I wish I could I join but like Julia, I’m not in quite the right time zone over here in London xx
Oh thank you so much Lyndsay, draft by draft, so much gets revealed, it’s so wild isn’t it. I’m going to adjust the time to allow for those in the UK to join in 🙌🏼. I’ll update the post with the new time soon.
Aaaaah this is a dream writing retreat idea. I'm on the wrong timezone (6hours ahead of Canada), and with a toddler + being 6months pregnant I am not sure my body would be up for midnight writing by candle light, but just wanted to share how lovely an initiative it is. 💌
Oh thank you so much Julia! So appreciate your words. And good news, I’m adjusting the time to accommodate the UK time zone. Updating the post soon 🙌🏼🤍
Writing for writings sake is my absolute favourite. Thanks for articulating this so perfectly
Thank you so much for reading and being here.
This sounds dreamy! Sad I missed this one, will there be another?
Yes!! Next one is in January 🤍
