Love this so much and totally agree!

Everyone trying to regulate to a tiny spectrum of feeling. I thought the nervous system was built to withstand a bit of stress and it’s healthy to exercise it. Give me a little tension here or there haha xx

Ahhh! So good! It's not about me always being calm, but recognizing when I'm not and learning what I need in those moments. Not just to be calm, but also to be alive and whole. Thank you.

“ it’s not just about applying some trendy tool the moment we feel dysregulated - that isn’t regulation, that’s symptom management.”

I am clapping to this post as so many social media posts speak about regulating the nervous system, however constant “management “there feels like there is no release or complete Gestalt process has happened.

I think we need to give ourselves compassion rather than orders and be more fluid in our healing approaches.

This is fab I love that you are telling me the opposite of what I always was told....anger is bad....no it's NOT....'regulating' and denying expression of justifyable anger is BAD. Thankyou
